SARA COONEN

Sara M. Sally Coonen, of Menasha, age 73, passed away early Sunday, August 8, 2010. She was born May 29, 1937 to the late Paul and Delia (Wolf) Kislewski. On September 13, 1958 she married Daniel Coonen. Sally will always be remembered for her love of crocheting and baking with her grandchildren; always making sure there was one egg for each grandchild to crack. She is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, Dan; her daughters: Colleen (Dennis) Page; Laura (Tim) Mikkelson; sons: Edward (Judy) Coonen; James (Rhea) Coonen; grandchildren: Kim; Terina; Bill; Mike; Sara; Joe; Aric; great-grandchildren: Tanner; Abigayle; William IV; Kaley; and Dakota. Sally is further survived by her sister Barbara Young; brothers-in-law David (Nancy) Coonen; Leo (Barbara) Coonen; sisters-in-law Jane (Charles) Washbush; Alice Coonen; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Henry Paul Coonen; brother-in-law Bob Young; and parents-in-law Henry and Elizabeth Coonen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Marys Catholic Church of Menasha, Father Paul Radetski officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Menasha.
