LORETTA RADTKE

Loretta M. Radtke, of Neenah, age 91, died Friday, August 20, 2010, at her home. She was born April 4, 1919 in Scandinavia, WI, daughter of the late Edward and Annie (Mork) Erickson. Loretta graduated from Scandinavia High School. She married George Radtke on July 18, 1938 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death in 1998. Loretta was employed at Kimberly-Clark and Vinland Corp. for 20 years until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed dancing, camping, traveling, and occasional trips to the Casino. Loretta was a long-time member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, and was a volunteer at Theda Clark Medical Center " Auxiliary for 25 years. Survivors include her son, Thomas (Joyce) Radtke, Neenah; a daughter-in-law, Karen Radtke, Appleton; three grandchildren: Brett Radtke, Las Vegas, Lori (Robert) Asmus, Menasha, Lisa (Terry) MacDonald, Neenah; five great-grandchildren: Jason Asmus, Andrew Asmus, Dane McDonald, Brittany McDonald and Taylor Radtke; five step-grandchildren: Laurie (Steve) Meyer, Neenah, John (Carla) Baumgartner, Appleton, Kurt (Linda) Baumgartner, Appleton, Dan (Donna) Baumgartner, Iola, Chuck Baumgartner, Green Bay; nine step-great-grandchildren; and thirteen step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard; three sisters: Ruth Otterson, Sylvia Bobbe and Hazel Snyder; and twin infant brothers. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Deckert officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Villa St. Clare for all their wonderful care.
