Obituary
Mariel J. “Chas” Fink, age 92, passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was born April 17, 1931, in Auroraville, WI, daughter of the late William and Ella Schliepp.
Mariel married Richard Fink on September 10, 1949, and they celebrated 60 years of marriage before he passed away on December 31, 2009.
Mariel was an avid golfer, loved to crochet and spending the winter months in Arizona. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah.
Survivors include her son, Craig (Nanci) Fink; four grandchildren: Rachel (Jason) Larkee, Daniel (Ali) Fink, Derek (Lauren Nokes) Rabideau, Anja Rabideau; three great-grandchildren: Brewer and Miller Larkee, Otto Fink.
Mariel was preceded in death by three sons: Mark, Donald and Jeffrey; and three sisters: Lorraine Johnson, Delores Jakubowski, and Shirley Eckstein.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 Commercial St., with Rev. Amy Engebrose officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00AM until the hour of service. Please, NO FLOWERS, Mariel was allergic to them. Her remains will be buried in Poy Sippi, WI, in the spring.
