JANICE KAUFMANN

Janice A. Kaufmann, age 70, passed away at her Appleton home on Wednesday, January 6, 2010. She was born on January 25, 1939, daughter of John Sr. and Laura (Woyak) Lehl. Jan loved to read books, crochet, go for drives and enjoyed watching the grandchildren play. She still loved to play piano when she had the opportunity and also played accordion. Jan was thrilled with her first surprise birthday party last year when she turned 70. She enjoyed her neighbors and friends at her apartment complex. She is survived by her children: Laura (Dan) Wipperman, Eagle River, WI; Jeff Zachow, Neenah, WI; Annette (Mark) Hablewitz, Neenah, WI; Becky (Jeff Spilski) Konitzer, Appleton, WI; and John (Tiffanie) Zachow, Griswold, CT. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Lindsay (Tony) King, Rancho Cordova, CA; Mandy (Peter) Joch and their son Hayden Joch, Appleton, WI; Taylor Travis and her daughter Caitlyn Martin, Virginia Beach, VA; Courtnee (Dave) Schraven and their sons Tyler and Nathan Schraven, Menasha, WI; Logan Travis, Stevens Point, WI; Kassie Konitzer, Appleton, WI; Kollin Konitzer, Appleton, WI; and Amanda Zachow, Griswold, CT. She is also survived by her father, John Lehl Sr., Neenah, WI, as well as her brothers and sister: Bill (Ida) Lehl, Santa Rosa, CA; John Jr. (Rita), Oshkosh, WI; Diana (Gary) Paulsen, Wautoma, WI; George Lehl, Oshkosh, WI. She is further survived by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. After struggling with many health issues, she is now resting peacefully with her mother, Laura Lehl and a daughter-in-law Kim Zachow (Jeffs wife). A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, Rev. Jeffery Suhr officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in spring.
