JERRINE JOSEPHS

Jerrine Corky Josephs, age 77 of Neenah, died Sunday afternoon, December 20, 2009 at the Alten Haus in Neenah. She was born August 6, 1932 to the late Elmer and Gladys (Schoenrock) Koepke in Niagra Falls, NY. She married Martin G. Josephs on September 4, 1951 in Appleton. In her working years, Corky was the head waitress at the Appleton Elks Club, a waitress at The Grog, and a bartender at Lord Rumbottoms and the Green Shack. In her free time, Corky enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing in cribbage tournaments. She also took pleasure in camping and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Corky is survived by her children: Jeff (Jeanne) Josephs of Suring, WI, Evelyn Sue Wienandt, Michael (Karla) Josephs, and William (Deborah) Josephs, all of Appleton, WI; grandchildren: Gretchen (Brad) Ebelt, Ryan (Heidi) Wienandt, Eric (Mandy) Wienandt, Joshua (Terri) Josephs, Jessica (Bob) Akstulewicz, Justin (Shana) Josephs, Bryan Josephs and Brad Josephs; great-grandchildren: Joshua, Nicholas and Baby Brother Ebelt, Parker David, Melody Lynn, and Isabelle Marie Wienandt, Jordan and McKenzie Josephs, and Laney Akstulewicz. She is further survived by her siblings: Charles (Elaine) Koepke, Claudia (Larry) Perkins, Crystal Smith, and Kathy Meyer; sister-in-law Lois Apitz; brother-in-law John (Barb) Josephs as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Corky was preceded in death by her husband Martin; step-father Frank Klarner; son-in-law David Wienandt; brother Vernon Koepke; father and mother-in-law Jarvis (Eva) Josephs; and brothers and sister-in-law: Tom (Loretta) Josephs, Charles Apitz, Cora (Bob) Veesers, Dennis Meyer, Tom Volkman, and John Smith. Funeral services for Corky will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, Rev. Stephen Dietzler officiating. Visitors may call from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
