HAZEL LARSON

Hazel L. Larson, age 94, of Neenah, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009, at Vallhaven Care Center. Hazel was born December 18, 1914, in the town of Vinland; daughter of the late Henry and Rose (Henke) Pahlow. She grew up on the family farm and throughout her life shared great memories of her childhood and farm life. Hazel married Donald Fischer, and he preceded her in death; she then married Kenneth Larson and he too preceded her in death. She loved doing crossword and word search puzzles, and her greatest joys were taking care of her grandchildren. Survivors include her children: Kenneth H. (Marjorie) Fischer, Raymond Fischer, Gerald (Pat) Fischer, Dan (Brenda) Larson, and Cindy (John) Casperson; she has eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a brother, Henry Pahlow; and her sister-in-law, Delores Pahlow. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Sturn, and two brothers: Herb and Al Pahlow. The Funeral Service for Hazel will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 3:00 PM, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home with The Rev. Jason Oakland officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the hour of service. A memorial fund is being established in Helen's name by her family.
