RICHARD HRUBESKY

Richard Dick C. Hrubesky, of Appleton, age 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 26, 2013. He was born May 21, 1942 in Neenah, son of the late John and Grace (Christianson) Hrubesky. Dick was a graduate of Neenah High School. He married Marg Dykstra on September 28, 1985. Dick retired from Badger Highways where he worked for more than 30 years. He then enjoyed running parts for NAPA Auto Supply. Dick also enjoyed boating on the Wolf River near Fremont, the Packers, NASCAR racing and working on cars. Survivors include his wife Marg; two sisters: Jean LeBelle, Joyce Reichel; five step-children: Robert Paul, Rudy (Carol) Paul, Rod (Casey) Paul, Robin Stocker, Rusty Paul and his fianc Kathy Bjorkland; his two special girls: Opal and Tasha; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Dick was preceded in death by his brother, Peter John Hrubesky; and a nephew, Donald J. Nollenberg. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
