LILA LENZ

Lila E. Lenz, age 87 of Neenah, passed away peacefully late Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was born March 21, 1925 to the late Minor and Emma (Gerke) Dutter in Tomah, WI. In 1947, she married George Lenz, who preceded her in death in 1973. Lila was a very caring woman, always willing to help anybody out. She was very well liked by all who knew her. Lila enjoyed talking and listening to music and always looked forward to visits with her grandchildren. She also loved gardening and flowers, especially roses. She took great pride in making her yard beautiful. Lila was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah and was a member of the Womens Auxiliary. Lila is survived by her children: David Lenz, FL, and Denise (Mark) Gidlof, Neenah; grandchildren: Tim Lenz, Sr.; Dan Lenz; Amy (John) Springer; Brittany (Kevin) Huss; Ryan Gidlof; and Melissa Gidlof; great-grandchildren: Madelyn, Morgan, and Zachary Springer; AnBrianna, BrookLynn, Tim Jr., and Steven Lenz. She is further survived by her sister, Iris Bauman; as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Arlys Dutter; brother, Lloyd Dutter; and brother-in-law, Ronny Bauman. The funeral service for Lila will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home, and again on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service at church. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Dr. Baltz and his staff for their care throughout the years; and to Jo and Poua, as well as special friends Rose Terry and Shirley Gidlof. Mom, you taught us many things we will always remember. We love you and miss you. Youll always be in our hearts. Grandma, were going to miss your smile and hugs. We love you very much!
