LEONARDO DESANTOS

Age 70, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center, while surrounded by those who loved him. He was born in Edinburg, TX on February 20, 1939, son of the late Jose and Guadalupe DeSantos. On April 10, 1962 he married Adelita Polanco, and the union was blessed with ten children and 47 years. Leonard retired from the Neenah Foundry in May of 2003 after many years of service to the company, where he wore many hats. He was an avid Brewers and Packers fan, enjoyed reading the newspaper, playing the lottery and playing cards. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Adelita; his sons: Leonard DeSantos, Jeramie (friend Brittany) DeSantos; daughters: Adelita Garcia, Elizabeth (Joaquin) DeSantos, Maggie (Adolfo) Luna, Veronica (Roberto) Flores, Melissa DeSantos, Geneva DeSantos, Annika DeSantos, Fabiana DeSantos; 21 grandchildren; a brother, Jose (Elvira) DeSantos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Alejandro Garcia. Funeral service for Leonard will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
