LEONARD HILBRAND

Leonard John Hilbrand, Town of Menasha, 95, passed away on March 22, 2015 at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah, WI. Leonard was born on May 5, 1919 in Miles City, MT to John and Leona (Leach) Hilbrand. He married Verna Mae Toudt on May 31, 1943 in Phillips, WI. Together they farmed first in Brantwood and Spencer, WI; then in Mountain Lake, MN. Leonard is survived by his children: James (Sharon) Hilbrand, Duane (Jane) Hilbrand and Bonnie (Ronald) Hetzel; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2006; three brothers; two brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law and a step-grandson. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Interment will take place in Lakefield Cemetery, Lakefield, MN. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. The family wishes to thank the staff of Theda Clark, Bridgewood Rehab Center and the Elder Lodge for their care and consideration.
