Obituary
Age 70, passed away December 6, 2011 in Iola at her daughters home. Jackie had been fighting multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer. She was born September 29, 1941 in Chicago, daughter of the late Allen and Mary Catherine (Henely) McFadyen. Upon her mothers death, Allen married Bernice (Theese) and moved to Phillips, WI. Jackie met Frank Frola, Jr. and they were married on December 28, 1963 then moved to Neenah, WI in 1965 where they raised both of their daughters. Jackie worked as a crossing guard for the Neenah Police Department for 13 years and then at Kruegers True Value until her retirement. While raising her children, she worked hard to make improvements for the Neenah Joint School District and spent many hours volunteering in the Neenah schools, Music Parents and Girl Scouts. Later in life she enjoyed showing her cocker spaniels Libby and Spy and being a member of the Winnegamie Dog Club. She also loved working in her yard and gardens; baking for the family and neighbors; and sewing. Survivors include her daughters Michelle Frola, Iola and Nicole Frola, Watertown; sister Geraldine Makowski, IL; step brother Ronald Theese (Billie), AZ; half brother James (Sally) McFadyen, Phillips; half sister Joan (Richard) Bamberg, Stevens Point; half brother Robert (Lynn) Eau Claire. Further survivors include nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Her parents, Allen, Mary and Bernice, and her husband, Frank, precede Jackie in death. Following Jackies wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 12:30-2 with a memorial service beginning at 2pm at the Westgor Funeral Home, Neenah with Rev. Vicki Natzke officiating. The daughters would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff at the offices of Dr. Anthony Phillips, Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology; Fresenius Dialysis Center; 5 Central Theda Clark Hospital and to Theda Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for multiple myeloma research.
