RUTH GAMBSKY

Ruth Gambsky, 94, of Menasha, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011, at her home. Ruth was born March 24, 1917, in Chilton, the daughter of Arthur and Kathryn (Mayer) Lopas. Ruth was a graduate of Menasha High School and was a stay at home mom. She enjoyed playing cards, especially sheepshead, baking, and watching the birds. Ruth went to rummage sales for years and would overstock her grandkids drawers! Ruth is survived by her daughter, Ruby Kleinschmidt, Menasha; her beloved grandchildren: Jennifer, Jeffery, Brei (Ryan) and Jacob (Ginny); her great-grandchildren: Dannielle, Victoria, Aiden, Abel, Ryan, Tyler, and Cody; a sister, Vida Schmidt; a brother, Richard Lopas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, Charlene Mary, her son, Charles Mitchell, a sister, Gladys, and two brothers, John and Alvin. The Funeral Service for Ruth will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
