LAVERNE ASCHENBACH

Aschenbach, LaVerne F. Neenah LaVerne went to the loving arms on Jesus on May 31, 2011. She was born on January 28, 1921 to Frieda Vogt and Gottleib Dietz in Sheboygan. LaVerne attended St. Pauls Lutheran Grade School and Sheboygan Central High School. LaVerne was married to Arthur Aschenbach on October 14, 1939 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She was employed at H.C. Prange Company and Dulmes Dcor. LaVerne was a member of Chris Ehlers dance band and the Barn Dance Crew for Dietz Music Company. LaVerne attended St. Pauls Lutheran Church from 1946 to 1992. She then moved to Neenah in 1992 and attended Peace Lutheran Church until her death. While at St. Pauls she was active in church activities including Mothers Club. In later years she faithfully attended Bible Class weekly. She is survived by three children: Dennis (Shirley) Aschenbach, Andover, MN, Diane Aschenbach, Neenah, Kathy Aschenbach, Neenah; grandchildren: Robert (Darrnel) Aschenbach, Marcia (Ronald) Rosenthal; great-grandchildren: Megan (Robert) McKenzie, Tyler Rosenthal, Ryan Aschenbach; great-great-grandchild: Luke McKenzie; step-great-grandchild: David Koselar; step-great-great-grandchild: Hunter McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, her parents, and two sisters: Agnes Dietz and Beatrice Dotz. She is survived by three sisters: Rosemarie Larson, Ruth Dulmes, Edithe (Harold) Stolper; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service for LaVerne will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Sheboygan on Monday, June 6.
