Obituary
Barbara J. Huempfner, of Neenah, age 70, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born December 29, 1940 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Alfred and Caroline (Brosig) Vandenlangenberg. Barbara married Milo Huempfner on September 12, 1959 in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2002. Barbara was a wonderful mother and was always worried about others, always putting them first. She loved bowling, traveling, going out with friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara will be sadly missed by her six children: Michael, John and special friend, Joni, James and special friend, Dot, Alan, Kay and special friend, Todd, Paul (Tracy); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Beverly (Ray) Gauthier, Carol (Ollie) Oleck; and special friends: Walt and Pokey. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Vandenlangenberg. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name. The family would like to thank Dr. Baum and Dr. Burns and the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital for all their wonderful care.

Aunt Barb will be deeply missed. I was looking forward to seeing her again this summmer. She really understood the meaning of family and how important it is to keep your family close. My prayers go out to her and the family.

Dear family, I am so sorry for your loss. It was so nice to see Barb at the family gathering. She looked good and happy. I'm so glad she didn't have lingering pain.
