Obituary
Nicholas A. Genett, age 34, passed away early Sunday, June 5, 2011 after a 7 year battle with brain cancer. He was born March 20, 1977 to Dean and Wanda (Willing) Genett in Neenah. On December 27, 2004 he married Angela Trier. Nick was an avid outdoorsman, having greatly enjoyed camping and kayaking. He also enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, and spending time on Big Hills Lake. Nick is survived by his wife, Angela; his parents: Dean and Wanda; brothers: Andrew (Julie) Genett; Max Genett; step-son, Forrest Bricco; nephew, Austin Genett; and niece, Drew Genett. He is further survived by his maternal grandparents: Raymond and Marge Willing; his cats, Otah and Jim; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and great friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Forrest and Grace Genett; as well as many aunts and uncles. A memorial service for Nick will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to grant wishes at Cherry Meadows Hospice. We would like to give a special thanks to all of Nicks friends and family for their love and support over the years. The family would also like to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth ICU and Cherry Meadows Hospice for their compassionate care. Nick, your strength and courage is an inspiration to us all. We love you and we will miss youtil we meet again.
