Obituary
Emily Rose May Walbrun, age 6, passed away on Monday morning, June 13, 2011 at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa, after a battle with brain cancer. She was born on May 31, 2005 in Neenah, the daughter of Chris Walbrun and Sarah Giese. Emily was only here a short time, but she made a huge impact on all she met. While at school she loved art and seeing her friends. Some of Ems favorite things were Erins meatballs, the Zac Brown Band, being in Girl Scouts, and doing silly little things to make us smile. Even though she is gone, she will never be forgotten, and we know she will be a little princess in Gods Kingdom forever. She is survived by her father and step-mother: Chris (Erin Dommer) Walbrun, of Spencer; her mother: Sarah (fiance Mike VandenHeuvel) Giese, of Pound; her siblings, Tia, Phillip, and Marissa Giese; special cousins: Andrew, Courtney, and Zander Coenen, Hailey, Ethan, and Tyler Hetzler, Harley Hoffman; grandparents: Dorothy and Bruce Walbrun, of Menasha; Doug Dommer, of Oshkosh; Godparents: Wade Zoglman and Sarah Hermes-Draves; special buddies: Aidan, Carter, and Bryce Griepentrog, of Spencer. She is further survived by several aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. The Funeral Service for Emily will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Pathways Church (311 W. Evergreen Drive) in Appleton. Friends will be received at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service. Please wear pink to the funeral. Interment will be in the Town of Breed Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
