ALICE TESCH

Alice C. Tesch, age 72 of Neenah, passed away June 15, 2011 at Cherry Meadows. She was born May 20, 1939 to the late Alpheus and Martha (Hetebrugge) Elwood. Alice had a great love for gardening. She considered herself a glorified weed puller, but loved her rose bushes. She also enjoyed traveling, having recently spend two weeks in Hawaii with her son, Al. She was a longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Menasha and will be missed by her family and friends, with which she frequented in eating pie and ice cream.

Alice is survived by her four children: Scott, Green Bay; Tom (Sherry), Neenah; Allen (Emma), Yokota, Japan; and Jeannie (Doug) Parrill, Neenah; grandchildren: Brenda, Jody and Amber Tesch; Kayla and Kristin Tesch, Ashley and Cory Parrill, and step-granddaughter, Sandra Woller. She is further survived by her brothers: Robert (Nancy) Elwood and George (Carol) Elwood; as well as many nieces and nephews, and her loving pets: Cinnimon, Bessie, and Meezy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene in 2004; and her granddaughter, Savannah.

A funeral service for Alice will be held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M., at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Menasha, Revs. Samuel Degner and Donald Ninmer officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the nurses and staff at Cherry Meadows for all of their care and compassion.
