LUCILLE ANDERSON

Lucille M. Anderson, of Neenah, age 102, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was born July 20, 1909, the daughter of the late Roy and Mayme (Thrall) Bradley, and grew up in Pickett, Wisconsin, graduating from Omro High School in 1928. That same year she married Merle Anderson and together they farmed for 50 years in the Town of Clayton, retiring to Neenah in 1977. Lucille enjoyed playing cards with friends, attending Neenah High School basketball games and listening to the Milwaukee Brewers baseball games on the radio. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester. Lucille is survived by a grandson, Mark (Mary) Frank, of Neenah; and two great-grandchildren: Matthew, of Neenah, and Madelyn, of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne in 1970; her beloved husband, Merle, in 1987; as well as her brother, Gordon Bradley; and two sisters: Hazel Gruetzmacher and Gladys Van Dehy. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. The visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
