FLORENCE MARTELL

Florence Elizabeth Martell, age 86 of Neenah, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, June 8, 2012. She was born June 14, 1925 to the late A. Otto and Stella (Mushinski) Coy. She was employed with JJ Keller until her marriage to John Martell on January 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1997. Florence and John were blessed with nine children. Florence took pleasure in the simple things that life holds; keeping up on current events, frequenting the library, bicycle riding, walking and socializing with her family. Florence was a devout Catholic and proud member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Florence is survived by eight children: Mary Martell; Phillip Martell; John P. Martell; Robert Martell; James Martell; Elizabeth (Randy) Lepak; Anne Martell; and Susan (Jon) Martell-Drews; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Scruton-Martell. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; and sister, Helen Bublitz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, in Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Visitors may call at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery, Menasha. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.
