MARJORIE BLEEKER

Marjorie M. Bleeker, 95, of Neenah, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Marjorie was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 19, 1916, the daughter of James and Orphia (Tuttle) Buggy. Marge attended teachers (normal) school following high school and was united in marriage to William Bleeker on July 15, 1939, in Sheboygan Falls. Bill preceded her in death February 4, 1981. The couple spent several years in Hawaii, where Marjorie served as a civilian secretary for the U.S. Navy. The Bleekers moved to Neenah in 1974 and lived on Peckham Street for 35 years. Marge was a good cook and really enjoyed visiting and socializing with neighbors and friends. She currently was living at Valley VNA. Marjorie was a member of First United Methodist Church, Neenah and the United Methodist Women. Survivors include her niece, Marjorie Gail Uebele, Tomahawk; grandnephews, Cory Uebele (special friend, Sherry), Palmyra, and Chris (Mindy) Michel, Kokomo, IN; a grandniece, Megan Watts (special friend, Jerry), Whitewater; and numerous great-grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, her sister, Julia Michel, her nephew James Michel and two infant brothers. The Funeral Service for Marjorie will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Neenah, with Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Margories honor is being established.
