SALLY PRAHL

Sally L. Prahl, age 77, peacefully passed away with her family by her side to her eternal home in Heaven on Friday, October 7, 2011. She was born on December 30, 1933 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Bernhardt and Marie (Goerlitz) Sorensen. Sally worked many years at Ford Rexall Drug in Neenah and Consumer Pharmacy in Neenah. She loved to knit for family and friends. She knitted many beautiful sweaters, hats, mittens, and baby booties that we have all enjoyed. Sally was a very loving and caring person. She always went out of her way to help others. She is a long-time member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School, was an altar guild member, and assisted with other office duties throughout the years. She will be greatly missed. She will be remembered by her husband, Don, of 59 years; her daughter, Joanne (Greg) Schaller; her son, Donald (Nancy) Prahl; grandchildren: John, Michael, and Christopher Prahl, Brian (friend Jessie) Schaller, Andrew (Jaclyn) Schaller; and three great grandchildren: Kiersten and Keali Prahl, and Wyatt Schaller; her sister, Denise Lien, niece and nephews, and many other family members and friends. The Funeral Service for Sally will be held on Wednesday, October 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Friends will be received directly at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Sallys name. We would like to thank the staff of Vallhaven Care Center for the love and care they provided to her during her stay there.
