MILDRED ROMBERG

Mildred Helen Elizabeth Knutzen was born August 7, 1922 to Agnes (Selle) and Ernst Knutzen. She entered eternal life on October 15, 2011. She married her husband of 59 years, Warren Romberg, on June 17, 1944. They had three children: Becky, Pam, and David. Milly was an avid gardner and also enjoyed sewing, golfing, bowling, and music. She was the last surviving charter member of Grace Lutheran Church in Neenah and was a passionate supporter of Christian Education at Fox Valley Lutheran High School. Milly was also a regular volunteer at the Bargain Garden Resale Store in Appleton. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Garry) Sievert; son-in-law, Robert Brown; daughter-in-law, Meg Romberg; sisters: Dorothy Laabs and Bernice Potratz; sister-in-law, Bernice Knutzen; brother, Frank Knutzen; dear cousins: Ruth Spiegelberg and Elaine Conant. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and their spouses: Justin, Andrew (Ginger), Allison, and Jillian Brown; Jason (Erin), Elizabeth, and Ryan Sievert; Josh (Lindsay), Kyle (Susan), Eric (Kerry), Amy, and Kacie Romberg. She is further survived by eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Milly was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; daughter, Becky; son, David; her parents; and two brothers, Clarence and Harold. A Funeral Service for Milly will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church, Breezewood Lane in Neenah, Rev. Richard Frost officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. The family especially wishes to thank the wonderful caregivers at Heritage Woods Hospice residence.
