ERVIE NOLLENBERG

Nollenberg, Ervie Neenah Ervie Nollenberg, age 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Theda Clark Medical Center with family by her side. She was born on March 13, 1930 in Dupont, Wisconsin, daughter of the late William and Lily (Arndt) Begrow. On July 29, 1950 she married Harold R. Nollenberg in Dupont, and the marriage was blessed with 6 children and 61 wonderful years. Ervie was a member of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church. Ervie was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who took much pride in her family. Her family will miss those sparkling eyes that held it all together. Ervie was an excellent cook and baker, spoiling her family with rice pudding, pear and apple pies, and everything in between. She enjoyed quilting, had a green thumb for vegetable and flower gardening, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, antique car shows, boating, fishing, camping, the Green Bay Packers, and taking the scenic route with her beloved husband, Harold. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Harold; her son, Ronnie (Sharon) Nollenberg, Neenah; her daughters: Cheryl (David) Ziegler, Manawa, Connie (Dennis) Hedtke, Neenah, Debra Geiger, Fremont, Tina (Scott) Wagner, Kimberly; her grandchildren: Kari, Haley, Elise, Eric, Timmy, Samantha, and Clinton; her seven great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings: Adeline Pockat, Rose Carlson, Ruth Miller, Glen (Bernice) Begrow, William (Segrid) Begrow, Jean Neubauer, Carlton (Anne) Begrow, Gladys Begrow; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Darrell; her son-in-law, Michael Geiger; her grandchild, David; her great-grandchild, Jade; siblings: Irma Bestul, Dorothy Woodstrack, August Begrow, Margaret Krueger, and Bernice Pockat. The Christian Funeral for Ervie will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church (436 S. Lake St.) with Rev. Richard I. Krahn II officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will immediately follow the service in Oak Hill Cemetery.
