DOROTHY ROGGE

Dorothy Rogge, 91, of Neenah, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Dorothy was born June 20, 1919, in Neenah, the daughter of Bernard and Alvinah (Kuhr) Blank. She graduated from Neenah High School, and was united in marriage to Russell E. Rogge on June 19, 1941, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1999. Dorothy was employed at School Stationery and Kimberly-Clark. She was a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Dorothy enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and making Christmas ornaments. Survivors include her daughter, Janice Gauger, Neenah; her son, Russell A. Rogge, Appleton; her grandchildren: Lori Chouinard, Todd (Lisa) Gauger, Steve Rogge, and Stephanie (D.J.) Mueller; great-grandchildren: Josh Gauger, Joey & Brianna Chouinard, Tiffany (Sam) Harris, Brady Gauger, Adam Riehl, and Tevin, Brooklyn, and Brandon Rogge. A sister, Genevieve Landskron, Roseville, MI; a brother, Richard Blank, Oshkosh; sister-in-law, Betty Williams, Neenah; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Bernard and Harold Blank, and her son-in-law, Wally Gauger. The Funeral Service for Dorothy will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011, 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Visitation will begin Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the church until the hour of the service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
