CLIFFORD LEE

Clifford M. Lee, of Neenah, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Vallhaven Care Center. He was born February 1, 1930 in Green Lake, WI, son of the late Clayton and Margaret (La Rose) Lee. Clifford married Irene Edwards on June 15, 1957 in Madison, WI. He served in the 45th Infantry in Korea as a Corporal in the US Army. Clifford was a member of First United Methodist Church in Neenah. Clifford loved to play golf, travel, camp with his family, and sing in choir and Barbershoppers. Clifford had a servant heart and was active in the Neenah/Menasha Elks Club, Optimist Club and Best Friends of Neenah/Menasha. Survivors include his wife, Irene; three children: Bridget Christina Lee, Rebecca (David) Bernin, Douglas (Jan) Lee; five grandchildren: Ryan Bernin, Anna Bernin, Madison Lee, Makia Lee and Joshua Lee. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Ave., Neenah, with the Rev. Robert B. Hays and Rev. Tony Fuller officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for First United Methodist Church and the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with full military rites.
