Obituary
Craig Houston, Neenah, age 20, passed away unexpectedly following a motorcycle accident on Saturday, October 24, 2009. He was born August 30, 1989, son of Tom and Carol (Egerer) Houston. Craig was born and raised in Neenah. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Neenah High School class of 2007. Craig was active in Boy Scouts with Pack 3010 and became a Life Scout and Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 10. He loved taking rides on his motorcycle. Craig enjoyed the Belagarth Medieval Combat Society and Dagohir, hiking, camping, traveling, music and spending time with his family and friends. Craig was member of St. Marks Lutheran Church of Neenah. Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Carol Houston; two sisters: Gina (Kevin) Houston Peeters, Appleton, Jackie Houston, Neenah; a nephew, Luke Peeters, Appleton; paternal grandmother, Grace Houston, Kenosha and FL; his godfather, Daniel Piver; and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Houston; maternal grandparents: Clarence and Agnes Egerer; special aunt and godmother, Sandra Egerer; three aunts: Sharon Egerer, Mary Piver and Vivian Borst. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Neenah, with Rev. Stephen Dietzler and Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Though I didn't know Craig as well as I knew his older sister, Jackie, his death still saddens and shocks me. Through reading all the memories people have posted of him, I know the world has lost a great person. I hope his family can find peace soon. Sincerely, Robin Spoehr

Craig was a relatively new, but very welcome member of our online motorcycle group, U.T.M.C. All,who met him, both online, and in person were impressed with his friendliness and good will. He will be sorely missed, but remembered with happiness for having known him. He will be memorialised with donations to drivers-ed education about motorcycle awareness. Thanks, Craig, for being you.
