Obituary
The Rev. Dale R. Zwieg, age 63, of the town of Clayton, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. Dale was born April 27, 1946, in Beaver Dam; son of Arnold and June (Kuhlman) Zwieg. Dale attended primary school in Juneau, and was a graduate of Northwestern Lutheran High School. Following graduation, he attended Northwestern Lutheran College and the WELS Seminary in Mequon. He was united in marriage to Linda J. Schroeder on December 18, 1971, at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. They were blessed with a daughter, Katherine. Dale was ordained in July of 1972 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and in December 1975, accepted the call to ministry at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Clayton. Pastor Zwieg was a man that many people could confide in as a Pastor and a person; he was there to lend a helping hand and ear. He will be remembered for his sharp wit and great sense of humor. He will be truly missed by everyone. Pastor enjoyed his family, his pets, traveling, and sharing Christian fellowship. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Katherine Zwieg (Jason Farris), Appleton; a brother, Wayne Zwieg, Oshkosh, and many, many friends and congregation members. The Christian Funeral for Pastor Zwieg will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, town of Clayton, with Rev. Rick Frost and Rev. Donald Ninmer officiating. The visitation will be on Friday at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pastors honor may be sent to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or Fox Valley Lutheran High School. For by grace are we saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

To the family of Pastor Zwieg my deepest sympathy on the loss of Pastor. I knew Pastor all my life. He is a presents in our church always and will be missed terribly. He was a constant adviser, confidant and friend to me and supported our choir. I will miss his laugh, his support and words of wisdom. God will be with you. Sarah
