Obituary
Charles E. Barnstable, Neenah, age 68, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 8, 2009. He was born August 10, 1941, son of the late Vernon and Lily Barnstable. Chuck served in the US Army during Vietnam. He retired from Neenah Paper Co. after 30 years of employment. Chuck was a long-time Packer fan and loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Barnstable; step-son, Allen Hassell; four grandchildren: Shannon, Ryan, Jill and Jason Hassell; a brother, David (Rosemary) Barnstable; nieces and nephews: Anne, Christine, David, John and Brian Barnstable; a brother-in-law, Leo (Michelle) Fuchs; and two nieces: Nicole and Shelly; a special friend, Lorie. Chuck was preceded in death by a brother, Jim. Chucks wishes were to have no services held.

My heart goes out to you in your loss. Chuck has been both my mentor and friend during the time we worked together at Neenah Paper. Much of what I learned from him I still use today. He also contributed strongly to the success of this company during a critical time of growth. He was one of the most dedicated employees that we have had in the business. Chuck supported me as both a co-worker and friend. He was there for me- helping to cover my maternity leave during the birth of two of my children and the time I was away from my desk to help build skills and ultimately my career. His personal advice and counsel I still hold close to my heart. Each year at Christmas I hang the ornaments on my tree that he gave me for my daughters at their birth...I think of him and smile. He will live on through memories and always be a part of who I am.
