Obituary
Alice (Tuchscherer) St. Pierre, age 81, a much-loved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 12, 2012. Alice was born in Menasha, Wisconsin on June 26, 1930 to the late Henry and Laura (Konrad) Tuchscherer. She attended St. Marys Grade School and High School and graduated from Lawrence University. Alice married Robert St. Pierre on September 6, 1952 and had a blessed life together for 59 years. Mom had the most tender and loving heart and was a true optimist- she always saw the best in everyone and everything. She dedicated her whole life to the happiness of her family and friends. Alice was an avid gardener who loved spending time outdoors. She was fortunate to have a wonderful group of friends who often got together to play bridge and celebrate birthdays. She was an outstanding cook and enjoyed hosting get-togethers at her home for friends and family. Alice will be warmly remembered for her patience, her generosity, her intelligence and quick wit. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert St. Pierre; her sister, Katherine Nash; her children: Ellen St. Pierre, Luke St. Pierre (Patricia), Jeanne St. Pierre (Dr. James Amstadt) and Rob St. Pierre (Gwen); grandchildren: Robert Dillon (Michelle), Patrick Dillon, Stephanie Wendrick (John), Monique St. Pierre (Eric Soda), Robert St. Pierre, Ian St. Pierre, Jennifer St. Pierre, Matthew St. Pierre, Jacob Van Os; and her precious great-grandchild, Savannah Wendrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Konrad Tuchscherer. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. A memorial fund will be established for Wisconsin Parkinsons Association.

I am so glad that you printed a photo of your mother as a young woman along side a more recent picture. It reaffirmed what I'd always believed, that the bright shine in her eyes was a lifelong trait. She was a lovely lady and I will miss her. pdb

Dear Bob & Family, So sorry to hear of Alice passing. She was a fun lady. I enjoyed doing her hair at the salon here in Menasha. She and I would work on the People mag. together. What I couldn't figure out She would and vice versa. Sometimes She wouldn't know the star on the page and I would get her started. She was a lovely lady and I will miss her dearly. She is at peace now, I know how hard she was struggling the last few months, but she never gave up. We should all have such courage and fight as she. She is in God's loving hands now. With all the ladies I do, I think someday I shall see all these beautiful women, who have become so special to me here on earth. I shall rejoice with them all! Take care and God bless you all.
