EVERETT RESCHESKE

Everett E. Rescheske, of Neenah, age 75, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. He was born in Oshkosh on August 29, 1936, son of the late Frank and Martha (Rucks) Rescheske. Everett met Katherine Wendling on a blind date in 1960, and they were united in marriage on June 23, 1962. Everett loved to sing and was a member of the Fox Valleyaires Barbershop Chorus for many years, as well as the choir at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Neenah. He also loved square dancing with the Fox Valley Squares Club, woodworking, and was an avid camper. In addition, he served with the Oshkosh Police Auxiliary and the Winnebago County Sheriffs Auxiliary. Everett had a long career at Neenah Foundry Company, retiring in 1999. Everett is survived by the love of his life, Kathy; his two children, Laurie and David; a daughter-in-law, Trisha; grandchildren: Victoria, Christopher, Kayla, Brian, Alex, Victor and Katelyn. He is further survived by his sister, June (Henry) Ebert; brothers-in-law: Orville (Betty) Hunt, John (Anita) Bruun; sisters-in-law: Ruth (Franklin) Rescheske, Shirleen (Ralph) Rescheske, Eileen (Roger) Rescheske, and Lydia (Paul) Kelly; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Everett was preceded in death by his parents; his parents-in-law, Caspar and Jennie (Kruel) Wendling: brothers: Franklin, Ralph, and Roger; sisters: Betty and Anita; and brothers-in-law: Henry Ebert and Paul Kelly. A memorial service will be held for Everett at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St, Neenah, with The Rev. Catherine A.K. Mode officiating. The visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the Our Saviors Building Fund.
