Obituary
William J. Bill Buetow, of Neenah, age 75, died suddenly November 21, 2010 in Sarasota, FL. He was born July 22, 1935. Bill is the beloved husband of Nancy Allison Carver since May 16, 1981. Loved dearly and respected by his children: Cynthia (John) Manders, Philip (Janis) Buetow, Wendy Buetow, Allison (Patrick) Harrison, Susan (Debra) Carver Bongiovani, Nick (Ruth) Carver. Also survived by his brother, Frank (Janis) Buetow; his sister, Dorothy Russell; and sister-in-law, Joy Buetow. Proud Grandpa to seven grandchildren: Rachel (Eric) Rojas, Ben Fenske, Hannah (Chris) Carpenter, Andrea (Tyler) Smith, Liz Carver, Nicholas Buetow, Bryce MacMartin and to 9 great grandchildren: Luke, Adam and Chloe Rojas; Jacob, Courtney and Alex Fenske; Jonah and Solomon Carpenter; Saige Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Katherine Buetow and his brother, Jim. Bill was first and foremost devoted to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was the best husband a woman could ever have! He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone he met. We were all incredibly blessed to have him in our lives. He and Nancy owned and operated the White Cart gift shop in Neenah, WI for 18 years. For the past 8 years they have been sharing their time between Neenah, WI and Sarasota, FL. Bill served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He spent his free time serving others at both of the churches he called home -- Calvary Bible Church in Neenah, WI and Faith Baptist Church in Sarasota, FL. Super Seniors will really miss him! Bill walked twice daily " all the while praying through his long list of loved ones, co-workers at Avis, friends and neighbors. Bill will be deeply missed and forever loved. "Absent from the body, present with the Lord" The memorial service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010, at Noon, at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Rd., in Neenah, with Rev. Rick Ribble officiating. The interment of cremains will follow the service immediately in Oak Hill Cemetery and then the family will greet relatives and friends at a reception back at the church.

Dearest Nancy and Family - Our hearts are so heavy with your unexpected loss this week. While we envy Bill and can only imagine the joy that is his with Jesus now, we also weep with you over his departure from your daily lives at this time of the year, especially. But what a life of love of people and of his Lord Bill lived! Even as we grieve, we celebrate that life and the many people Bill touched with the love, grace and mercy of Jesus.
