Obituary
Roger Richard Camille Charlier, age 68, was called to heaven to join his wife Carol on Saturday, December 4, 2010. His death was the result of a stroke that occurred on November 27, 2010, when he was preparing to hunt in Dalton, WI. He was born February 15, 1942, the son of the late Camille and Irene (Belongia) Charlier in Coleman, WI. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol J. Cavosi on August 3, 1963. Roger always worked as a mechanic starting at the Electric Company in Milwaukee, to owning his own small engine repair in Shorewood and then Charliers Marina in Neenah. Roger took an early retirement from Kimberly-Clark, Lakeview Mill so he and Carol could retreat to Door County. Then to get closer to their family they moved to Suring, WI. Roger moved back to Neenah in October 2009. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and nature in general. He was a hard worker who would always lend a helping hand. Roger was a member of St. Gabriels Parish in Neenah. Roger leaves five children to cherish his memory: Susette Charlier, Renee (Tom) McMillan, Cheri (Brian) Nushart, Roger, Jr. (girlfriend, Stephanie), and the baby of the family, Amiee Charlier; grandchildren: Logan Charlier, Nick McMillan, Tyler, Joey and Makenna Nushart, Amy (Louie) Morales along with great granddaughter, Audriana Morales. Roger is further survived by his loving extensive family including his special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Roman and Marilyn Cavosi of Rhinelander. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, parents, in-laws, Victor and Eleanor Cavosi; his sisters: Bernice Shallow, Cecile Platek, Norma Beck, and Adeline Beck; and his brother, Henry Charlier. The Memorial Mass for Roger will be celebrated Saturday, December 11, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen as celebrant. The visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church Saturday until the hour of the mass.
