Obituary
Earl L. Ludtke, of Neenah, age 74, will be spending Christmas in heaven with Jesus and his wife Carol. Earl passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010. He was born On May 23, 1936 in Waukesha County, son of the late Earl Frank and Edith (Littlejohn) Ludtke. Earl moved to Wautoma when he was 5 years old where he attended school and then went to work on the family farm. Earl married Karen Joy Vanderhei on July 16, 1955. After having seven children, they later divorced in 1976. On June 24, 1978, Earl then married Carol Mae Stuckart in Wautoma. She preceded him in death on February 16, 2008. Earl enjoyed toy collecting, race car driving, being in parades and he had a love of working with wood and metals. He was employed with James Burns & Sons Farms in Almond for many years, as well as working for numerous other farmers. Earl was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church of Neenah and a former member of Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma. Survivors include children: Mike (Theresa), Bob (Jean), both of Plainfield, Randy of Waupaca, Lee (Linda), Sandra (John) Gipson, both of Wisconsin Rapids, David of Black River Falls, Linda Howard of Hancock, and Cindy Ludtke of Neenah; 32 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elaine (Harold Sr.) Vanderhei, of Cambria; and he will be missed by Cookie. In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christine Mae Ludtke; and a sister, Evelynn Greves. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Noon, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood Ln, Neenah, with Rev. Richard Frost officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Waupaca.

not only was he my grandpa a friend a ear that lisen no matter what the prob was a heart of gold laid to rest to early in life.grandpa i just want you to be happy with grandma now dont worry about us all down here well be fine.i love and miss you dearly.go rebuild the farm up in heaven with grandma and all us grand kids running around.R.I.P

Grandpa you did so much for my mom and dad. You were always there to help take care of Wendy and I when they couldn't because they had to work. I'll never forget all the holidays at your house with all the family members. It was always fun. We all love your train you build and everyone in the family had a building. I hope you build an even bigger one in heaven and I can't wait to see it. You taught me the power of the (red) tractors (International) and to stay away from the green ones (John Deere). It was always fun to go to work with dad and to see you too. I loved looking at your and dads toolboxes with all the pictures of everyone you loved on it. You would always let Brad and I go down to the basement and play space invaders because we are the oldest. We would go to the family farm and sled down the snow hill or have a bon fire. The one year we all went camping at Kuesell Lake was great. I was a hard summer for us but it helped too. I remember going to Iowa to the toy show and Brad and the family were with too. I like it when we went to church with you. It was all so much fun. Thanks for the memories grandpa. I love you so much and will miss you. God bless.
