DOROTHY JUNG

Dorothy A. Jung, "Dottie" met her Lord and Savior on November 9, 2014 at the age of 95. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born on August 16, 1919 in Oshkosh, WI, daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Hannemann) Blaske. She married Dr. Wilmer E. Jung on July 14, 1940 in Readfield, WI. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Wilmer E. Jung D.C.; a son, Clyde Jung; her parents; a sister, Marian; and a brother-in-law, Bernard Kannenberg. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carol Haley, Hutto, TX; grandson, Todd (Tina) Thompson, Round Rock, TX; great grandchildren: Haley, Michael, and Grace. Daughter, Connie (Dean) Jensen, Neenah; grandson, Mark (Julie) Jensen, Neenah; great grandchildren: Kayla, Ashley, and Jacob; grandson, Rory (Kris) Jensen, Menasha; great grandchildren: Danielle and Sarah. Daughter-in-law, Judy Jung, Neenah; granddaughter, Stephanie (Christopher) Bixler, Rice Lake, WI; great grandchild, Rosa; granddaughter, Shelby (Dan) Miller, Menasha; great grandchildren: Isaac and Michelle; grandson Steven (Wendy) Jung, Neenah; great grandchildren: Joe, Sam, Matt, and Luke. She is further survived by her sister, Phyllis (Pastor Donald) Laude, Marquette, KS; other cousins, nieces, and nephews. Dottie was always there for anyone who needed someone to talk to and enjoyed everything about her life. She was a fabulous sense of humor and hospitality blossomed when whipping up a meal in minutes for unexpected guests. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Service for Dottie will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church (200 N. Commercial Street) with Rev. Paul L. Holte officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Park View Health Center activity fund. Dottie's family wishes to thank the staff of Park View Health Center for the outstanding and loving care they gave her while she was there.
