TROY JENSON

Troy Jenson, age 87, passed on to his Lord Jesus on October 25, 2012 from the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Troy was born in Scandinavia, Wisconsin on January 31, 1925, the son of Sidney and Selma (Siljord) Jenson, who preceded him in death. He attended Appleton Senior High School until proudly enlisting in the U.S. Air Force where he served many missions as a nose and tail turret gunner during WWII. After the war, he attended Bowling Green University in Ohio, graduating summa cum laude. Troys career moved him to Chicago where he worked for Libby, McNeil, and Libby; as a computer programmer for 29 years. He returned to the Fox Valley in 1978 and became Comptroller for the First National Bank where he worked until his retirement. Troy is preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene, Robert, Phillip and loving son Eric. He is survived by his brother Roger (Alice) Jenson, sister Betty (Ken) Settecase and sister-in-law Audrey Jenson, along with many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Church in Menasha. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
