JULIANA DOMBROWSKI

Juliana F. Dombrowski, 89, of Menasha, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Theda Clark Medical Center. Juliana was born October 17, 1923, in Menasha, the daughter of Alvin and Jennie (Kropidlowski) Dombrowski. She was employed for close to 40 years with the former Gilbert Paper Company and retired in 1985. Juliana was a parishioner at St. John Catholic Church in Menasha, and for the past three years she was living at Prairie Homes. Juliana enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, card playing, polka dancing, going to the casino, and watching the Packers on Sundays. She loved going out to eat at Dick and Joans in Appleton and traveling up North to her sons cottage at Spirit Lake to fish. Getting together at the family home was a tradition for their holidays and Juliana was a great baker and made awesome soups. Survivors include her son, Robert Bob (Barbara Andersohn) Dombrowski, Rib Lake; her granddaughters: Dawn (Kevin) Behnke, Brillion, and Amy (Larry) Willes, Menasha; great-grandchildren: Matthew Dilley (Meghan Schwab), Jessica Dilley (Jesse Haen), Rheanne Behnke, Amanda Willes, and Trevor Willes; her beloved great-great granddaughter, Brittin Juliana Haen; two sisters: Florence (Leland) Schniedewend, Neenah, and Lee (the late Norbert) Kappell, Appleton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and their spouses, Vern (Don) Kruschke and Barbara (Ken) Krueger, and an infant sister, Theresa. The memorial service for Juliana will be Saturday, November 3, 2012, 12:00 p.m., at Menashas Westgor Funeral Home, with Deacon Rick Dvorak officiating. Visitation will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A memorial fund in Julianas honor is being established.
