CLARA GUSTAFSON

Clara Gustafson, 81, of Neenah, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 2, 2012, with her husband at her side. Clara was born July 20, 1931, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Jennie (Carlson) Wolfensperger. She graduated from Beloit College in 1953, and was united in marriage to Glenn E. Gustafson on December 26, 1954, in Rockford. Clara was an elementary schoolteacher in Beloit and Oak Lawn, IL. The Gustafsons moved to Neenah in 1962. Clara is survived by her loving husband, Glenn; her son, David (Alice) Gustafson, Middleton, and their son, James, of Indianapolis; her daughter, Jennie (Dan) Florness, and their children: Peter, David, Daniel Lars, and Anna Clare, all of Winona, MN; and her sister, Mary Anne Carter, Dallas, TX. Clara will be remembered for her ability to listen and to teach. She was deeply respected and loved by her friends and family, and will be greatly missed. The memorial service for Clara will be a private family gathering. Friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at The Garden Room, Bridgewood Resort Hotel, 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Claras honor may be sent to the charity of your choice.
