Obituary
Karen A. Keck, age 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center- Appleton, on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was born in upper MI, on March 23, 1939, daughter of the late William and Marguerite (Bohmier) Mayo.
Karen married Rowland “Mickey” Keck in September of 1983. He preceded her in death on February 28, 2005. She retired from Badger Globe Credit Union after many years of employment.
Karen enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, feeding the squirrels and birds, and her flower garden at home, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Neenah.
Survivors include her ten children: Beth Hiltunen, Gail (Mark) Gintner, Jim (Connie) Hiltunen, Linda (Mike) Huff, Nancy (Craig) Rabideau, Dawn (Mike) Atkins, Tim Keck, Jeff (Debbie) Keck, Scott (Jean) Keck, Tom (Tammi) Keck; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters: Jim (Rose Marie) Mayo, Mary Ellen Patovisti, Gary (Jeannine) Mayo, Alice Maki, Marcia (Curt) Lindstrom; and her life-long friend, Linda Greetan.
Karen was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey James Hiltunen; and a daughter, Mary Joan Hiltunen.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 600 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the hour of service.
