SYLVIA KELBERT

Sylvia E. (Naef) Kelbert, age 95 of Neenah, died peacefully in her sleep early Tuesday, August 21, 2018. She was born December 8, 1922 to the late Otto and Anna Naef in Wausau. On April 24, 1952, she married Arnold Kelbert. Together they had three children.

Sylvia's was a life of service to others, inspired by her love of God. She loved studying the Bible and serving her Savior, but also enjoyed baking, gardening and swimming. She was a member at the Neenah/Menasha YMCA and was a participant of the Y-Nots.

Sylvia is survived by her children: Ronald Kelbert; James (Meredith) Kelbert; and Judith Dew; her grandchildren: Ryan (Emily) Kelbert; Rachel Kelbert; Greg (Tara) Kelbert; Amy (Shawn) Collar; Tony (Nikki) Kelbert; Becky Kelbert; and Lynn (Darren) Lien; as well as by 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Adele Naef; Eline Forsberg; sisters-in-law, Ruth Naef and Ellen Naef; as well as by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; and by her siblings: Leon Naef; Donald Naef; Leona Nueske; Dorothy Jeske; Harold Naef; Evelyn Nueske; and Raymond Naef; as well as by her brothers-in-law, Otto Jeske and Harold Forsberg.

A Funeral Service for Sylvia will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be next to Arnold in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to everyone that had cared for Sylvia over the last 13 years, but especially the nurses and staff at Park View who took great care of her during her final years.
