SANDRA OLIVER

Sandra J. Oliver, of Neenah, age 78, was taken home by Jesus on Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was a lovely woman who was born May 19, 1935 in Stratford, WI, daughter of the late William and Alice (Boucher) Lueschow. Sandra graduated from UW-Madison with a Bachelors of Science in Home Economics. She then taught Home Economics & Science before completing her Masters Degree in Guidance Counseling from UW-Oshkosh. Sandra met Karl Oliver while at UW-Madison and they were married on January 15, 1957. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2012. Sandra was an academic who enjoyed reading about medical research, nutritional sciences and exercise physiology. As a counselor for the Neenah Joint School District, she was kind, compassionate and believed in serving her students and their families with respect and professionalism. Sandra enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dancing, baking and creating healthy dishes, her overall healthy lifestyle, biking Wisconsin bike trails with dear friends; spending quality time with her family, attending Badger football games as a season ticket holder, and traveling to the beaches in Florida; namely Sanibel Island, with dear friends for their annual winter pilgrimage. Sandra was very proud of her grandchildren. Sandra was kind, thoughtful and selfless. God blessed us with a wonderful mother and she was, and will always be, dearly loved. Sandra is survived by her two daughters: Karlene (Jerry) Clunie, Milwaukee, Christine (Brett) Armstrong, Neenah; three grandchildren: Alicia Armstrong, St. Louis, Matt Armstrong, Neenah, Aaron AJ Armstrong, West Point Academy; a brother, Lloyd (Shirley) Lueschow, New Glarus, WI; a sister-in-law, Amelia Rosenheim, Waukesha; and five nieces and nephews: Kevin (Sarah) Lueschow, Elmwood, IL, Karl (Kristin) Lueschow, New Glarus, Karen Lueschow, Stevens Point, Cheryl (Dan) Tenant, New Berlin, Jim (Michelle) Rosenheim, Waukesha. A private prayer service will be held in Verona, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Valley VNA in Sandras name. Westgor Funeral Home 205 W.
