ESTHER COENEN

Esther E. Coenen, age 84, formerly of Neenah, passed away late Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Weyauwega Health Care Center. She was born July 10, 1927 to the late Fred and Elsie (Gaudian) Reichel. Esther was a woman of many hobbies. She loved sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and visits with her grandchildren. She was a lover of music, having come from a musical family, and was a former member of St. Marks church choir. Esther is survived by her four children: Gary (Dianna) Coenen; Steve (Phyliss) Coenen; Cindy (Paul) Kordus; and Pam (Bob) Buss; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers: Ronald (Chris) Reichel and Fredrick (Betty) Reichel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl B. Coenen in October, 2001. The funeral service for Esther will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Neenah, Rev. Stephen Deitzler officiating. Visitation will be at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Esthers name. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Fox River Assisted Living and Weyauwega Health Care Center for their kindness, care, and compassion over the years.
