Obituary
Eleanor Loretta (Yorkson) Buchanan of Neenah, age 95, passed away June 15, 2012. Eleanor was born in Neenah on November 26, 1916. She married Russell Buchanan on October 5, 1937. She is survived by her six children: Mary (Lucky) Lenser; Susan (James) Anderson; Linda (Henry) Bosma; Rolland (Laurie) Buchanan; Polly (John) Jutsum; and John (Nancy) Buchanan; as well as her longtime ward Ashley (Scott) Mead. Eleanor is further survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Antoinette and Clyde Yorkson; and sisters Ruth Rothenbach, Kate Wilms, and Helen Reitzner. Cremation will be carried out by Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts honoring Eleanor may be sent to Community Hospice Foundation, PO Box 1534, Appleton, WI 54912-1534.

I love you and miss you, Mom. So many memories. Of you sitting by my bed when I was sick, of school programs where I would look up and see you and Dad in the audience, playing in the backyard until the light faded and you calling me in to eat..of how patient and kind you were to everyone around you. You touched so many lives by such simple acts. To know that you and Dad, the love of your life, are reunited makes it a little bit easier. Love always, Ashley

My heart is heavy hearing of the passing of a woman I will always call "Mom". Eleanor was a fantastic and caring person as was Russell. They took in so many children like myself and made a home for us. Whether it was a brief time or an extended time, she cared for us the same. Not enough appreciative words can be said about Grandma's great friend Ann and her family Ellen and Mike. They were long time friends and helped through many needs in her life. A huge thank you to them for all they have done for Grandma:)You will be missed Grandma.We love you.

Eleanor was so kind to us, and so loving to our son Andrew that I could never forget her or Russell. She was a wonderful woman, and I am sure there are lots of great memories to sustain all of you.
