BARBARA DICKOW

Barbara Lee Dickow, age 75 of Neenah, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012. She was born August 30, 1936 to the late Art and Meta Karolus in Shawano. Barb was a very loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. She was a very sociable person who was always up for a visit. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren; traveling to Waupaca to watch their sporting events. Everything she did was for them. In her free time she enjoyed bowling on both couples and singles leagues and loved her annual visits to Vegas with her husband. She was a retired secretary from J.J. Keller, having worked there for over 40 years. Barb will be missed by her husband, Dick; her daughters: Debbie (Ron Lehmann) Dickow, Neenah; and Lori (Marty) Christensen, Waupaca: grandsons: Jeff, Josh, and Jordan Christensen; and her sisters: Carol Hoffman, Gresham; Jean (Jim) Powell, Minneapolis; sisters-in-law: Fleaury Kaolus, Long Prairie, MN; Kay Karolus, Iola; and June Hanstedt, Shawano. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews: Mary (Joe) Sadler; Nancy; Mark; Tammy; Tracy; and Scott. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents: Marie and Elmer Karolus; her brother Denis Karolus; sister Janice Karolus; and biological brother Robert Karolus; as well as her brother-in-law Dick Hoffmann and sister-in-law Audrey Bohm. The funeral service for Barb will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Dr. Phillips and to Barbs nurses, Kathy and Brenda, for the care and compassion shown to Barb and her family during her illness.
