Obituary
Rita A. McClone, of Menasha, age 85, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She was born March 11, 1927 in Menasha, daughter of the late Victor and Marcella (Tuchscherer) Suess. Following graduation from St. Mary High School in Menasha, Rita attended Mount Mary College in Milwaukee. On June 21, 1947 she married Ralph J. McClone at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Menasha. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2008. Rita was the loving and patient mother of ten children while helping out with the accounting at the McClone Agency and supporting the many teams that Ralph coached. Her hobbies included knitting, reading and puzzles. Rita was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. Survivors include her 10 children: Kathleen (John) Jauquet, Green Bay, Michael (Claudia) McClone, Menasha, Kevin (Grace Chen) McClone, Wilmette, IL, Daniel (Cathy) McClone, Menasha, Molly (Herb) Horn, Sherwood, Maureen Lamers, Menasha, Timothy (Lynn) McClone, Menomonee Falls, Patrick (Diane) McClone, Fond du Lac, Brian (Joann) McClone, Omro, Kelly McClone, Menasha; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Gloria Suess; and many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 320 Nicolet Blvd., Menasha, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. The visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass. Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Menasha. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley in memory of Rita. The family would like to thank Theda Care at Home Hospice and the staffs of Heritage Woods Assisted Living and Peabody Manor, for their professional and compassionate care.

I am so glad to have seen the notice of Rita's death in the GB paper. My first thought was to be sure my Mom knew (she died in '08). I remember the big,fun, house, the sports, the racket and laughter. Mom & Dad always saw Ralph & Rita as good friends. I hope that all is well with the McClones'. Blessings - John

My brother, John, forwarded the obituary to my sister and me last night. I was out having dinner with my husband and immediately shared my memories of Rita and the entire McClone family with him. My mother, Jenny Nemick (both our parents are gone now, too), loved your Mom so much! She indeed was a very special lady. My condolences to all of you.

Kathy - I just drove past your house on Keyes St the other day and Sue Erdmann mentioned that your mom had just passed away. I remember her well. She was a very neat lady. You all have great memories for sure. I still run across old pictures once in while of us St. Pat's kids at birthday parties, etc. That was a little while ago! Take care. Claire Ann
