JEANNE LEEMAN

Jeanne M. Leeman, of Neenah, age 55, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 20, 2010, surrounded by her family following a long battle with cancer. She was born August 3, 1955 in Iron River, MI, daughter of Frank and Mary (Turcotte) Ciochetto. Jeanne grew up in Iron River and graduated from Lake Superior State University with a bachelors degree in Human Services. She then worked in that field for a number of years. Jeanne married Daniel Leeman in 1983 and resided in Marinette, Oshkosh and most recently in Neenah. Jeanne was an avid reader and enjoyed camping, biking, cooking and rollerblading. She was devoted to her faith, family and home. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah. Survivors include her husband, Dan; a daughter, Sarah Leeman; a step-daughter, Linda Kieser of Germany; three step-grandchildren; her mother, Mary (Ron) Woodworth; a sister, Jackie (Joe) Esbrook; four brothers: James Ciochetto, John Ciochetto, Jeff Ciochetto, Joel (Jennifer) Ciochetto; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank; and her grandparents. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday at Neenahs Westgor Funeral home from 6:00 " 9:00 p.m. and again at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established for the St. Margaret Mary Human Concerns Committee. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. The family greatly appreciates the outpouring of love and support of family and friends during this difficult time.
