ALTA BREAKER

Alta M. Breaker, of Neenah, age 91, died peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Valley VNA. She was born August 22, 1921 in the Town of Poygan, daughter of the late Charles and Frederika (Boche) Kolodzik. Alta married Albert Breaker on May 4, 1946 and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1996. Alta owned and operated with her husband Breakers Green Valley Farms in the Town of Clayton. She enjoyed bowling and was a past Director of the Wisconsin Womens Bowling Assoc. Alta was also a writer for their newsletter. She was also the secretary for her bowling league for many years. Alta was a very active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church of Neenah. Survivors include her three children: Robert (Roxanne) Breaker, Neenah, Kathryn (Tom) Magnuson, Wausau, Jeanine Breaker, London, England; three grandchildren: Stacey (Robert) Reese, Oshkosh, Todd Breaker, Greenville, and Becky (Martin) Donnelly. Chandler, AZ; five great-grandchildren: Kyle and Kristin Reese, Kailey, Taylor and Peyton Donnelly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alta was preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with The Rev. James Plymire officiating. The visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Neenahs Westgor Funeral Home, and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in the Clayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Valley VNA and also to the Affinity Hospice, for all their wonderful care of our mother.
