RAYMOND ZELINSKI

Age 81, of Menasha, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009, at his home. He was born March 2, 1928, at the family home on Kaukauna Street in Menasha. Ray graduated from St. Mary High School in Menasha and served in the Wisconsin National Guard following World War II for many years. He was united in marriage to Rose M. Pilarski on October 8, 1955, at St. John Catholic Church, Menasha. Ray was a general contractor and owner of Zelinski Plumbing (R & R Plumbing) which is now owned and operated by his sons. He was a member of Coonens Mens Club, and loved going on long afternoon drives and boating. Ray lived by the water all his life and hand built his first two boats. Survivors include his beloved wife, Rose; four sons: Joseph R. (Tammy) Zelinski, Oshkosh, and their daughters: Victoria and Karly, David J. Zelinski, Menasha, Daniel B. (Nancy) Zelinski, Menasha, and their sons: Alex and Zachary, and Thomas A. Zelinski, Milwaukee. He is further survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law. The Memorial Mass for Ray will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski as celebrant. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service at the church. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.
