UNITA KEHL

Miss Unita M. Kehl, Neenah, age 93, died peacefully Sunday, September 6, 2009 with her family and her Savior by her side. She was born April 29, 1916 to the late Frank and Elsa (Roll) Kehl. Unita was a long-time volunteer for the Neenah Historical Society and the Public Library and after 44 years of service, retired from the Aid Association for Lutheran as the first female Director in 1981. She also enjoyed spending time tracing her family history and spending time with her cats. Unita is survived by two nieces: Eulora (Ray) Heckendorf, Jackson, Kathleen (Rick) Boehler, Green Bay; two nephews: Trent (Barb) Kehl, Weyauwega, Bruce (Karla) Kehl, Winchester; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Kehl. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009, 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church of Neenah with the Reverend DJ Engelbrecht officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 12:30 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be at Neenahs Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Unitas name.
