DOROTHY KOHLER

On Saturday, July 19, 2014, a beautiful morning, sun shining, blue skies, birds chirping, a light breeze, another angel arrived. Dorothy E. Kohler, age 92, found her place in heaven. Dorothy was born March 5, 1922 in Neenah, daughter of the late Otto and Alvina (Jahnke) Sauer. She married Elmer Matthew Kohler on October 12, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1966. Together they had eight beautiful children. Dorothy lived a fulfilling, happy life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include seven children: Carolyn Sedo, David Kohler and special friend, Nancy McIntee, Daniel (Pat) Kohler, Barbara (Paul) Huebner, Ann Kohler and special friend, Bob Boncher, John (Corinne) Kohler, Deborah Kohler; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Gary; two sisters: Mable and Alice; and seven brothers: Art, Henry, Herman, Robert, Adolph, Norman and Lester. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, Rev. Ricky Schroeder officiating. The visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 AM till the hour of service. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
