DOROTHY ZACHEK

Dorothy M. Zachek, age 91, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Brewster Village. She was born on September 14, 1918 in Milwaukee, daughter of a late Andrew and Ellen (Flannery) Manson. On December 18, 1937 she married Frederick Zachek in Milwaukee, and the marriage was blessed with two daughters and 48 years until Freddy preceded her in death in 1986. Dorothy will be remembered as a very gracious, wonderful lady who was always smiling. She enjoyed quilting and baking wedding cakes for her family members. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Dottie (Bob) Storey, Neenah, Barbara Mancewicz, California; grandchildren: Joseph (Richelle) Mancewicz, Mark Mancewicz, Martha (Jeff) Timmer, all of California, Mary (Nick) Simpson, Colorado, Richard (Margaret) Storey, Sherwood, Catherine (Kevin) Sebrowski, Little Rock, AR; 5 great grandchildren; a son-in-law: Thomas Mancewicz, Michigan; sister-in-law: Josephine Manson, Milwaukee; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and her loving husband Frederick, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Milwaukee. The family would like to thank the staff at Brewster Village for their Summa Cum Laude service, and passionate care theyve given to Dorothy.
